Octopus with pasta

It is a popular traditional recipe that encloses all the nutrients and the rich flavor of the octopus. It’s an ideal meal for fasting, but it can also be served throughout the year as a delicious, healthy meal for the entire family. Just add tomato and olive oil and the dish is ready in just 11 minutes! 

   

~ Tips and instructions ~

Open package and cook contents without defrosting.

You will need 200g peeled, chopped tomatoes and 50g olive oil. Optionally, add 10 minced peppermint leaves to enhance taste. 

  1. In a medium size pan add the tomatoes, the olive oil, the peppermint (optional) and 90g. of water and bring them to a boil.
  2. Empty the contents of the bag. When it comes to a boil, reduce heat to medium and cover.
  3. Let the mixture cook covered for a total of 10 minutes (from the moment you add the contents of the bag). Stir occasionally.
  4. Serve while still warm.

In the refrigerator: 24 hours

In the freezer:

6°C: 1 week

12°C: 1 month

18°C: until the expiry date
