Boil the potatoes and carrots for 25-30 minutes until tender.

Drain them and place them in a deep bowl.

Boil the milk and butter separately and pour over the potatoes and carrots.

Whisk everything with a hand mixer and add salt and nutmeg.

Set the puree aside to cool and prepare the fish sticks according to the package instructions.

Serve them on a plate with the puree.
